I'm New Here

Going to a new church can be intimidating!  We want you to be as informed as possible before you attend so you can have a good idea about what to expect.

What should I expect?

Bible teaching:  We believe that the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to us so it is the center of everything that we do at Heritage.  We desire to faithfully teach and practice everything contained in it.

God-honoring worship:  Prayer, Christ-exalting music, and careful preaching of the Bible are the highlights of our time of worship.

Friendly people:  You will find a gracious group of Christians who love each other and would love to get to know you.

What should I wear?

Our goal is to glorify God in all that we do.  Some of our people decide to dress up to remind themselves that worship is a special occasion while others don’t feel that is necessary and come dressed casually.  It is a personal decision and no matter what you wear you will fit right in.

Where should I go?

We currently meet at the Lynnwood campus of Cedar Park Christian School.*  Since the building was designed to be a school rather than a church, navigation does require a little bit of thought. However, we try to make it as easy as possible for you to find where you need to go.  You can check out the campus map to get a better idea of where to go.

Service Schedule

Sunday mornings

Sunday school begins at 9:30 and classes are available for all age groups.  Our Worship Service begins at 10:45 and usually ends around noon.  Nurseries for ages 2 and under are available for both services.  See campus map for room assignments.

Before the Worship Service our greeters will meet you the doors of the auditorium, give you a bulletin, and answer any questions that you have.

All children 3 years old and up will join us for the first part of our worship service, which includes music and Bible reading.  They may be dismissed with our children’s workers for their own special service before the preaching time begins.

Sunday evenings (6 pm)

Sunday evening is a more casual family time that focuses on prayer, singing, and equipping believers for ministry.  We will normally spend about 30 minutes being built up and challenged by the Word of God and then spend about 30 minutes expressing our dependence on God through prayer.

Wednesday evenings (7 pm)

Wednesday night kids' time provides an exciting opportunity for kids to enjoy a small group setting where they learn how to study God's Word from a mature adult who has a passion for studying the Bible.

The adults and teens split up into small groups for a refreshing time of reading the Bible together. Whether you have been reading the Bible for many years or are just picking it up for the first time, this Bible reading session will help you grow in your relationship with God.
