Sunday School
Whether it’s working our way through a history of the Old Testament or learning about the work and life of Jesus Christ while on earth, the Primary/Junior Sunday School class is an exciting place for children grades 1 through 6 to come and learn about some of the basics of the Bible. Children ages 3 to 5 have a separate curriculum and activities designed specifically for them to grow in their knowledge of God.
Kids Church
Kids Church at Heritage is more than cookies and milk. It exists to help children understand what worship is and how it differs from Sunday school and fellowship. Children learn by actively participating as musicians, pray-ers, ushers, greeters, listeners, and offering counters. A perfect support ministry for families new to church.
one-to-one
Our Wednesday night children's ministry focuses on teaching our children to read and understand God's Word for themselves. The teacher-to-child ratio is very low, creating a loving discipleship-relationship as each child is assisted in reading God's Word, making new personal discoveries, finding answers to his/her questions, and applying what God says to his/her life. Our conviction that "faith comes through hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17) is a driving force behind this ministry.
Preschoolers who are yet unable to read take part in a separate class. The current study of the New Testament introduces the children to our great God who has spoken by His Son Jesus Christ.
