Matt and Rebekah Crain are GFA missionaries to Papua New Guinea. They minister with a team of GFA missionaries led by Michael Berbin in the village of Aibai. Both Matt and Rebekah served as single short-term missionaries before the Lord brought them together; they married in 2006.

Matt is the administrator of South Simbu Christian Academy and Rebekah is the head teacher in the school. The school year began January 31 with 29 students in grades 5, 7, 8, and 9. They ask prayer for the Lord to work a greater servant's heart and spirit in each of their students this year. The purpose of the school is to equip nationals both academically and spiritually to be the future pastors, missionaries, teachers, and lay leaders in churches in PNG.

In addition to the school ministry, the Crains are involved in various ministries of Victory Baptist Church (Aibai) and Rapture Baptist Church (Kilau), including teaching Sunday school and preaching for outreaches. Matt is also responsible for the team's supply trips to town.

Matt and Rebekah ask special prayer for the Lord to provide two additional teachers for 2012. Although GFA short-termer Tara Liston plans to teach while they are on furlough, they need additional teachers to carry the load.
